That was in the 70's. After years of compounds, I bought a custom long bow. As the years went by, I bought A Cobra recurve & other recurves by Bear. They were all 50 lbs, except the Cobra. It's 40 lbs. & is now my favorite. It shoots as good as the others & much easier to draw & hold. I'm waiting for deer season this fall.
